A SHARED RESPONSIBILITY

There’s a place for you.

You don’t have to be a scientist to contribute to a future with wild flamingos.

Share a sighting

Document the date, place, number of birds, and visible bands or tags. Photographs can help researchers evaluate an observation.

Keep your distance, respect access restrictions, and let birds feed and rest undisturbed.

Researchers, institutions, educators, and conservation organizations can ask about sharing knowledge and contributing to our work.

The existing FFWG donation page accepts contributions through PayPal to support the organization’s conservation mission.

Learn about the state bird campaign and share accurate information about the American flamingo’s history in Florida.

Ask about participation, volunteer opportunities, educational resources, and future working-group updates.

EVERY OBSERVATION MATTERS

Your observations can help researchers understand where flamingos go and what they need.
